Mission Bridge Signals Work: Changed Timelines – September 26 to October 2, 2024 

This construction update reflects the new dates for signals work at Elbow Drive at 4 Street SW to 5 Street SW. Site conditions did not allow the work to be completed on September 15 and the work is now planned for the end of September.

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, Elbow Drive at 4 Street SW to 5 Street SW will be closed to allow for signals work. 

Pedestrians and wheelers can still access the bridge during this closure by using the west-sidewalk. 

For those travelling through the area by vehicle, signs and detours will be posted to help you navigate the area. 

East and westbound vehicles will be detoured on 25 Avenue SW.

Please refer to the detour map below for details. It’s recommended to allow for extra travel time if you’re planning on driving through the area.
