What a day!! We really do live in the BEST little community. Seeing everyone come out — kids running around, neighbours sharing food, old friends catching up, new neighbours being welcomed and everyone pitching in — is such a great reminder of what makes Rideau Roxboro so special. Community doesn’t just happen — it’s something we create together. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Evelyn and Verona for all the work they put into organizing and coordinating the day, and to ALL of our amazing volunteers! Thank you to the Storwick family for the barbecue beast (and burgers!), Bill Tuer for the Banded Peak beverages, Ben Knopp Real Estate for sponsoring face painting and Hoop Calgary, the City of Calgary for the $1,100 grant, Matthew & Melanie Campbell, Douglas & Nancy Long and our anonymous donor for their generous contributions — and everyone who brought food to share!
